History of Swirls

Size : 70 x 90 cm

Date : 2010

Technic : Canvas with American box frame of 75 x 95 cm

My idea: evolution of two circular shapes in motion,
Two swirls which carry away everything on their passage,
The one big, the other one smaller,
their movements seems complementary, mangling sometimes towards the right, sometimes towards the left,
with, for each of them, a cyclonic center.
They converge towards the center of the canvas.

Some pieces of metal, symbolizing the money to which the human are so much attached,
Whatever they defend themselves from it : it seems that there is not more than the money which controls the world,
and some metal chains which remind about this attachment of the humanity to these earthly values.

My work : mortar, acrylic, finger paint, glue, metal (piece, square, mini-chains)
and a projection of my mind at a given moment.

Selling Price : 1700 €

Original Wordpress Thème from Templatelite, adapted for Guppy v4.6 & v5.0 by 4avril.
Hard to maintain, it inspired a new one named "inspire" by the same author, for guppy v5.2.
The latter has been transformed by Arlizia Informatique to look better at the previous Watercolor.
